Judo Classes and Options
The opportunity to receive private lessons from a former Olympic athlete is a rarity. All classes are conducted either in the convenience of your home or at a public location of your choosing, such as a park or sports field. Each initial class is free. Judo gis will be made available for use, however, the purchase of one is highly recommended and required for the competitive training category.
The Judo Community's training and pricing is based on three separate categories: special needs training sessions, recreational judo training sessions, and competitive judo/supplementary MMA training sessions. Email or call The Judo Community today for pricing information.
Special Needs Training Sessions
Every special needs training session is approximately 60 minutes long. The Judo Community specializes in adaptive training sessions for almost every disability but focuses on the very basics of the sport. The spirit of judo encompasses giving back to one’s community. Special needs families are provided with a discounted rate. Please contact The Judo Community directly for special family/group rates.
Recreational Training Sessions
Every recreational session is approximately 60 minutes long. Recreational training combines some higher-level strength and conditioning training but primarily focuses on making the sport enjoyable and understandable for all. Please contact The Judo Community directly for family/group rates or for discounted additional sessions per month. A recreational training graduate can always graduate to the competitive level.
Competitive Judo and Supplemental MMA Training
Every competitive session is approximately 90 minutes long. Competitive training combines 20-30 minutes of high-intensity strength and conditioning training along with higher-order tactical judo. It is recommended for experienced martial artists or individuals graduating from the recreational category. Please contact The Judo Community directly for family/group rates or for discounted additional sessions per month.
